First Night Bradford in Motion
BRADFORD, PENNA. (April, 2017) – The First Night Bradford Committee is happy to announce 2017/2018 First Night Bradford Festivities are back and in motion.
First Night Bradford, New Year’s Eve at its finest is gearing up for the 2017/2018 season and we need your help. First Night is a drug and alcohol-free cherished community celebration of the New Year through the arts including both local and regional talent suitable and affordable for all ages.
In order to put the proper focus on the 2017/2018 event, we postponed the 2016/2017 season. We believe this extra time has motivated the committee and we are looking for some additional motivated individuals to make this season a huge success. We would not be able to hold FNB without the help of businesses and individuals. With your generous donations, we can bring into Bradford some fine entertainment.
The FNB committee has begun the process of preparing your 2017/2018 First Night Bradford Festivities with an upbeat, dedicated structure committed to our local and surrounding communities with a focus on teamwork. The Committee’s intent is to keep the community up-to-date on the progress of the planning and developing of the 2017/2018 First Night Bradford Event on a consistent basis.
We are now currently running local community fundraising events like our upcoming Bake Sale on the 14th from 10:00am-4:00pm. We are looking to get the surrounding areas and our Local Bradford supporters excited about what’s to come for First Night Bradford. Each committee has been tasked to achieve separate items for the Event.
Listed are the Committee’s and their progress as followed:
Entertainment: Committee met on March 28th and discussed various entertaining options from previous acts in years past to brand new entertainment. The Committee will be bringing back all of First Night first(s) for the little ones and discussing some additional “firsts” for the night.
Venues/Vendors: Committee is working on touching base with various venues from previous years for consistency.
Finale: Big Ticket item are the popular Fireworks to the end the night. FNB Committee member is looking into different local groups to handle the fireworks. One individual is checking on Otto-Old Home Days for information on their Fireworks.
Volunteers: Committee is talking to local churches and community groups. Any interested individuals, please reach out to us. FNB cannot be possible without your support.
Public Works: Requested permit for selling food at Stinkfest. Delivered the space requirement to Co-Chairman, Don, along with the cost for the next fundraising event for FNB.
Fundraising: Upcoming Bake Sale 14th 10am-4pm at Walmart. Cookies, cupcakes, brownies, pie, and other delicious goodies. COME JOIN US!
Fun Colorful First Night Bradford wristbands will be available for purchase of $2.00/each (family/multi deals available) at all fundraiser events. All proceeds benefit First Night Bradford Festivities. Plan to see FNB also at Stinkfest (May 6th) and Pumpkinfest. You can also expect donor letters to be arriving soon.
The First Night Bradford Committee and its current supporters thank you for your support over the years and look forward to the 2017/2018 First Night.
